Ayahuasca Visions

Vision is something that we must learn to handle no one teaches us this. But there you are at a
ceremony, astonishing you are seeing all sorts of things. When visions occur it awakens the memory of previous experiences, you see things that you have forgotten in your ordinary consciousness, some are projecting their guilt, some are weeping, and some are just amazed because it’s too beautiful.
Where are the Visions coming from
With Ayahuasca you have visions that come from inside yourself, projections of your conscious and unconscious. It’s also memory, depending upon everything you have experienced and inherited.
Talking about visions is like imagining that sound that doesn’t exist for someone trying to describe what it’s like to hear, it’s really hard if the person has never heard a thing.
Visions during an ayahuasca ceremony are overwhelming, no matter if the projections are negative or positive. Your first impulse will be to leave that state, it’s unknown even if visions are beautiful you will be scared.
Visions are not always lovely when the Ayahuasca kicks in
Visions can be quite lively, like a mortal accident. For some people the Ayahuasca experience could be as dramatic as if passing away, one can see life passing before their eyes, you are shocked, you feel ill.
A random accident might last only seconds the Ayahuasca ceremony last for 3 hours at least. But with Ayahuasca you will see everything in slow motion. Many episodes of one’s life will be in action at the same time. Visions are characterized by presentness, details, externality, and three-dimensional explorable spacefulness.
During an ayahuasca ceremony, you are reasoning with different parts of your being. Your consciousness which are going to materialize in a different kind of vision.
Visions or not visions you have to reconnect with yourself, humbly but with strength. If you are about to experience the medicine Ayahuasca, you are there for nothing except listen to, meet the plant’s spirit and try to get through anything.
The Shaman during the visions
The shaman’s icarus/song is important during the vision, the Icarus deliver consistency to the visions. The
Icaros are the center of a ceremony, they open doors that offer access to different things, each Icaro has an essence or spirit in its melody, the essences of healing plants like the Tabaco, chacruna, or Ayahuasca, they are master plants that have taught the shaman their own melodies, and how they should be used by the Shaman.
